Before you send it.

The ones we get asked most. If yours isn't here, send us an email.

Most enquiries are answered within 24 hours, and usually the same day. There is no triage queue, ticket system or account manager between you and an answer - Simplepage is three people, Simon, William and Sharon Steed, and we read every message that comes through the form ourselves. The reply comes from someone who can actually make a decision, which is why things move quickly afterwards too: data from our project history shows Sumlo going from idea to live product in three days and Patch shipping in three weeks, and that pace starts with how fast the first email gets answered. If your enquiry is urgent - a site down, a hard deadline, an Umbraco version running out of support - say so in the message and we will prioritise it. If you have not heard back within a working day, your message did not arrive; try [email protected] instead.

A good enquiry involves three things: what you are trying to build or fix, roughly when you need it, and what already exists - a current site, a CMS, a spreadsheet that has got out of hand. Plain terms are fine; you do not need a specification. Pick the closest subject on the form - product idea, hosting or support, automation, AI integration, SEO/GEO, or something else - and we will take it from there. Two details save a round trip. For upgrade enquiries, tell us your current Umbraco version: according to Umbraco's long-term support policy, Umbraco 13 reaches end of life on 14 December 2026, so v13 sites need a plan and a date. For everything else, a rough budget range helps us scope honestly - every project gets a fixed price before work starts, so the more we know up front, the more accurate that price is.

Email is just as good as the form: [email protected] reaches the same three people, and the reply speed is the same - within 24 hours, usually the same day. Email is the better route if you want to attach anything, such as a package list, a screenshot of an error, or a link to the current site. We have found that upgrade enquiries which include the site's current Umbraco version and installed packages get a fixed-price quote noticeably faster, because scoping starts from facts rather than guesses. The form is slightly quicker on a phone and prompts you for a subject so nothing gets missed; email gives you more room to explain and attach. Either way, the answer that comes back is a plain one - what we would do, roughly how long it would take, and what a fixed price would look like. Use whichever suits you; both land in front of the same people.

Simplepage Limited is based on the Isle of Man, at 10a Gordon House, Prospect Hill, Douglas, IM1 1EJ. The island is home rather than a brass plate: we build for Manx businesses face to face and work with UK and international clients remotely, with 18 years of Umbraco work behind us from version 4 through to version 17. The three of us - Simon, William and Sharon Steed - all work from the island. If you are here too, we are happy to meet in person before anything is scoped - and wherever you are, every project starts the same way, with a conversation and then a fixed price before any work begins.
