Pulse is Simplepage's internal project management tool and client portal. It combines drag-and-drop kanban boards, one-click time tracking with automatic Toggl import, recurring tasks, Slack alerts, Monday-morning email reports and a read-only client portal. We built it in a weekend and have run the agency on it every day since.
Pulse is an internal Simplepage product rather than a commercial service - we built it for ourselves and we are the audience. It's on the site because it demonstrates the rapid-development capability we sell: if your business needs something like Pulse - a PM tool, a client portal, an internal system - we can build you one through our Rapid Development service, on the same stack.
The Pulse client portal gives clients a read-only view of their own work, accessed by an email link. They see their board and its progress; you keep full control and stop answering status emails.
