What we cover.

☁️

Managed Umbraco

Umbraco Cloud, Dedicated or Azure. Whichever fits your project best. We handle configuration, deploys, and the fiddly bits.

💾

Backups + SSL

Nightly off-site backups retained 30 days. SSL renewed automatically. HSTS and modern cipher config tuned for you.

📊

Monitoring

Uptime, response times, error rates, resource usage. Alerts hit us first - usually before you know there's a problem.

🔒

Security patches

Umbraco, .NET, infrastructure. Applied in controlled windows with rollback ready. No surprise outages from a rushed CVE.

🇬🇧

UK + IoM data

Datacentres in the UK. GDPR-compliant by default. No data sent across jurisdictions without your say-so.

🚀

Migration support

Coming from another host? We handle the DNS, databases, media, and cutover outside business hours.

1

Give us access

Current host, repo, DNS registrar. We audit your setup and map out a migration plan with a realistic cutover window.

2

We migrate

Staging site, full test pass, DNS lowered. Cutover happens at a quiet time. You verify, we switch, both hosts run in parallel briefly.

3

You stop worrying

Monitoring live, backups running, monthly check-in. You know who to call, and what's included. No awkward per-ticket billing.

Move in three steps.

From first email to first sleep-easy night.

Move your website over →

The hosting we already run ourselves.

Every product we ship runs on the same hosting setup we sell you. Sumlo, Eddi, Patch, Bayr, the affiliate engine, this website - all of them live on our stack.

Which means we care about it for our own reasons, not just yours. When we tune something, it benefits every site we host.

Hosting questions.

The ones we get asked most. If yours isn't here, send us an email.

Managed Umbraco hosting means we run the platform underneath your site so you never have to think about it: configuration, deploys, nightly off-site backups, uptime and error monitoring, security patches for Umbraco and .NET, and SSL certificates that renew automatically. The service is backed by a 99.9% uptime SLA, and alerts reach us first, usually before you know there is a problem, because the monitoring pages us rather than you. Patches go out in controlled windows with a rollback ready, so a bad update never turns into your outage. Staying current matters more than it used to: according to Umbraco's long-term support policy each major version has a fixed support window, and Umbraco 13, for example, reaches end of life on 14 December 2026, after which security fixes stop. Keeping you inside supported versions is part of the job, not an extra.

Backups run nightly to off-site storage and every copy is retained for 30 days, which means you can restore the site as it stood on any day in the past month, not just yesterday. Off-site matters: a backup that lives on the same infrastructure as the site it protects disappears in the same incident. SSL certificates renew automatically before they expire, with HSTS and a modern cipher configuration tuned for the site, so the padlock never lapses because somebody forgot a renewal email. Both of these run without you asking; restore tests and certificate checks are part of the routine rather than an emergency service.

Data residency means your website's data stays in the jurisdiction you expect it to, and with us that jurisdiction is the United Kingdom. Every site we host lives in UK datacentres and is GDPR-compliant by default, under both UK GDPR and the EU regulation that has applied since 2018, and nothing is sent across borders without your explicit say-so. That matters if you are a UK or Isle of Man business with data-residency obligations, because the awkward moment usually arrives in a supplier due-diligence questionnaire: a client or regulator asks where personal data physically sits, and a vague answer costs you weeks of follow-up. Hosting here lets you answer in one line, UK datacentres and nowhere else, and back it up with the hosting agreement. If a project genuinely needs a different region we will say so up front rather than fudge it.

Migration involves three stages, and none of them should be dramatic. First, you give us access to your current host, repository and DNS registrar; we audit the setup and map a plan with a realistic cutover window. Second, we build a staging copy of the site, run a full test pass against it and lower the DNS TTL ahead of the switch; across the migrations we have run we found that a lowered TTL plus a short spell of parallel running, with the old and new hosts both live, turns cutover into a non-event visitors never notice. Third, monitoring and backups go live on the new environment and we move to a monthly check-in rather than per-ticket billing, so questions get asked while they are still small. Cutover itself happens at a quiet time of your choosing, and the old host stays warm until we are certain.

Either, or something in between: we host on Umbraco Cloud, on dedicated servers, or on Azure, whichever fits the project best. Data from our own project history backs the recommendation, because Sumlo, Eddi, Patch and this website all run on the same stack we sell, so we maintain it for our own reasons as well as yours.
