Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.
Six services to take a product from idea to live, and keep it running. Rapid development, managed hosting, automations, AI integration, technical visibility, and Umbraco upgrades.
Tell us your idea →What we actually do.
Rapid App Development
You have an idea. We turn it into a working product in days or weeks, not quarters. AI-assisted development on a proven .NET stack overseen by a senior experienced developer. Fixed pricing where the scope allows, full source code ownership, documented enough that another developer can pick it up tomorrow.
Hosting & Managed Services
Production hosting for Umbraco sites and custom .NET applications. Backups, monitoring, security patching, SSL, and the boring infrastructure work that separates a live site from a broken one. Priced as a monthly retainer, not a la carte.
Simplepage Automations
Scheduled jobs, API integrations, data pipelines, report generation. This is the tooling we built to ship our own products, offered as a service to companies who need the same. If you can describe a repeating manual job in one sentence, there is a good chance we can automate it.
AI Integration
Production AI added to your applications. Content assistants that understand your CMS, automated processing, bespoke MCP servers, AI-powered workflows your team can trust in front of customers. Built with Anthropic's Claude and compatible providers, bring your own API key.
SEO, GEO & Technical Visibility
Be found by search engines and by AI-powered discovery. Schema markup, OG optimisation, GEO analysis (how well ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews can cite your content), Core Web Vitals. The same audits we run on our own sites, offered to yours.
Upgrades & Migrations
Umbraco v4 through to v17, plus migrations from WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal and Kentico (and any other website you can mention). Eighteen years of version upgrades distilled into a documented process with clean migrations, zero data loss, and minimal downtime. We know where the gotchas are because we put most of them there ourselves.
Discovery call
Thirty minutes. You tell us the problem, we ask the awkward questions, you leave with a rough shape of the work and a feel for whether we're the right fit.
Scoped proposal
Within a few days you get a tight brief, fixed price (or day-rate estimate), and a realistic timeline. You sign off before we write code.
We ship it
Weekly demos, continuous deploys, live in days to weeks. You own the codebase and the hosting stays with us for as long as you want it.
Common questions.
The ones we get asked most. If yours isn't here, send us an email.
Starting a project with Simplepage involves three steps: a short scoping call, a fixed-price proposal, and a signed agreement. Work usually begins within two weeks of that signature, and smaller pieces often start inside 10 working days. The scoping call pins down what you actually need, the proposal fixes the price and the deliverables before anything is built, and because nothing is billed by the hour there is no open-ended discovery phase to pay for. Data from our project history shows the pace once we begin: Sumlo, a timesheet-to-report SaaS, shipped in three days, and Patch went from brief to live product in three weeks. If your deadline is genuinely tight, whether a launch date, a contract renewal, or an end-of-support cliff, say so on the first call and we will tell you plainly whether it is achievable and what would have to be cut to hit it.
Yes, and most of our work starts inside somebody else's codebase rather than on a blank slate. We take on .NET and Umbraco projects of any vintage, plus bespoke stacks, and we begin every inherited codebase with a short audit so you get an honest written view of its state before committing to anything larger. If we are the wrong fit we will say so at that point and the audit is still yours to keep. New builds run on .NET 10 and Umbraco 17, and older sites can be brought up to that platform as a fixed-price upgrade. According to Umbraco's long-term support policy, Umbraco 13 loses security support on 14 December 2026, which is why a large share of the existing-codebase work we take on right now is upgrade and migration work booked ahead of that date rather than left to the last minute.
An engagement with Simplepage is one of three shapes: a single day for small fixes, a fixed-price project, or a monthly retainer. Day engagements suit isolated problems such as a broken deployment, a performance issue, or a security patch that cannot wait. Fixed-price projects cover the bulk of what we do: rapid development, upgrades and migrations, automations, AI integration, and SEO and GEO work, all scoped and priced before anything starts so the number you sign is the number you pay. Our Umbraco 13 to 17 upgrade, for example, is a fixed £8,999 plus VAT. Retainers pair managed hosting with iterative development, so the same people who run your infrastructure also ship your changes. Every shape ends the same way: you own the full source code, there is no vendor lock-in, and you can walk away with everything we built at any point.
A retainer is one to five reserved days a month, and most of our clients take two. Those days cover whatever moves your site forward: new features, content changes, performance work, and the steady upkeep that stops small problems becoming rebuilds. According to Umbraco's release calendar, a new major version ships every six months, so retainer time is often spent keeping sites patched, current, and off the end-of-support treadmill rather than firefighting after the fact. Unused days do not silently vanish into an invoice; we agree the priorities with you at the start of each month, and if there is genuinely nothing to do we say so.
Simplepage is based in Douglas, Isle of Man. We work remote-first with clients across the UK and beyond, and on-site visits are available for the Isle of Man and North Wales.
